CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

The ASHE Region 6 Education Committee is looking forward to hosting another great conference in 2027, and we encourage you to submit an abstract to help shape the breakout sessions for the 2027 ASHE Region 6 Annual Conference.

​

Collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the heart of any successful education program. Presenting a breakout session at the Annual Conference provides an excellent opportunity to share your knowledge, experience, and outcomes with fellow facility managers, technicians, and healthcare contractors.

​

The 2027 Annual Conference will be held April 14–16, 2027, at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota.

​

The breakout sessions allow for a more in-depth review and presentation of specific focus areas.

​

Suggested topics for abstracts include, but are not limited to:

  • Energy Conservation Planning for Board/Organization Approval

  • Organization/ Operations Development (How We Deal with Maintaining the Healthcare Environment, Contractors, Patients, Etc.)

  • Sustainability- How does this effect construction plans?

  • ILSM- Keeping All Teams Accountable

  • Safety on the Jobsite (Maintain Control of Vendors, Contractors and Patients)

  • Anti-Ligature Risk Assessment

  • Code Updates: (NFPA, FGI, Joint Commission, Interim Life Safety Measures)

  • Case Studies

  • PDC Track

  • Reliability Centered Maintenance

Breakout sessions will be between 45 minutes to 50 in length. Please make sure to leave room for a few minutes of Q&A.​​​​ 

 

You may present individually or as a group.

 

The Call for Presentations is now open until December 18, 2026.​​​  Selected presenters will be notified by Friday, January 13, 2027.
